Steven Weber: home

I am an associate professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

My research interests are centered around mathematical modeling of computer and communication networks. Specific research interests include:

  • capacity of uncoordinated ad hoc networks
  • rate-adaptive streaming multimedia
  • randomized broadcast algorithms for wireless sensor networks
  • call preemption in prioritized loss networks
  • performance simulation and optimization of large scale ad hoc networks

As of July 1, 2011, I serve as the Assistant Department Head for Graduate Studies for the Drexel ECE Department.

Please note that I am not currently hiring any new graduate students in my research group. Please understand that I cannot respond to every individual request along these lines.
