Gail Rosen received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the Georgia
Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA in '99, '02, and '06 respectively.
At Georgia Tech, she was an National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate
Research Fellow ('00-'05) and an NSF GK-12 Teaching Fellow ('03-'04). In 2009, she received a National Science Foundation CAREER award.
She joined
Drexel University in 2006 as an assistant professor, and her main
research interests are computational biology and metagenomics.
She also has industry experience and worked as a summer intern for AT&T Research ('00) and MIT Lincoln Labs ('04). She has also worked as an associate engineer at
Scientific-Atlanta Inc. in the digital cable systems division and co-op'd for the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
